Headway receives no States funding and relies entirely on the generosity of islanders and the local business community. That’s why your donation is so important to us to enable us to continue to run our essential services for islanders and their families living and coping with the devastating effects of brain injury. All funds raised stay in the Baliwick to help local people so your support really does make a difference.
To give a donation:
Please make your cheque payable to Headway Guernsey and post to the address below or phone Philippa on 01481 252589.
To make a donation in memory for a loved one:
Many families, friends and carers affected by brain injury request monies be donated to Headway rather than, for example, flowers at funeral. This is a very special way to celebrate the life of a loved one and we thank family and friends for supporting us in this way.
While flowers fade, your gift in memory will live on through the work of Headway, helping us to help others who have been affected by brain injury. We rely entirely on voluntary donations to enable us to continue to support members through information, practical support and services.
In many cases, Funeral Directors will make these arrangements.
We will reply with a letter of thanks, unless otherwise requested and your name will be registered in the Guernsey Press, although we will not disclose the donation amount.
Please send any donations, along with the name of the person in whose memory the donations are made to:
KGV Playing Fields
For any queries about donating please call 01481 252589.
If you would prefer donations to floral tributes, it is a good idea to let your executors know of your wishes, or to include it in the details about your funeral.
