Things are different
Fear, frustration, loneliness, boredom, depression, fatigue, useless, self-loathing, a burden, a sense of being trapped and shattered confidence are my constant companions since my acquired brain injury. My brain injury has completely changed my life, from being totally independent to no longer being able to do many things. I now have to rely on others for a lot of things.
However, when I attend Headway things are different. I feel part of the human race again. There is understanding, support, willing help, companionship and new friends.
