We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who dove through cold, wet mud on a cold, wet winter’s day for Headway.
Nearly 700 of you traversed an obstacle course worthy of an army training session, wading through water-filled ditches, beneath electric fences and over piles of tyres.
After the February storms the fields were extra soggy but this did not dampen spirits. There were piggy back carries for the shorter ladies who would otherwise have been up to their heads in mud, lots of smiling faces and cups of tea and coffee at the finish.
It’s because of the Guernsey community that we are able to keep our services running and provide support for brain injury survivors and their families. We couldn’t do it without your help. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
